Originally from Swindon, Marchal Canguelo began his DJ career in 1999 playing at the famous Brunel Rooms and while he was there he was asked to play at Disco Tronic at Po Na Na, another pumping club in Swindon. His unique personal style and flare for playing the finest in funky electro house music was already taking people by storm.

It wasn’t long before Marchal was snapped up to headline some big nights in Portugal. Where some of the leading promoters in Portugal put him on the same bill to play at some of the biggest clubs in Portugal with a 5,000 capacity venue’s to play alongside top international DJs in the game such as eric Morillo,CJ Macingtosh,Richard F,,Deep Dish,Jeff Mills,Brandon Block,Jason Herd,Jon Fitz Joey Negro freemasons, Xpress 2 and live PA’s with Angie Brown and Katharine Ellis name but a few. As well as headling for Nokia and RedBull Beach club parties.

On retuning to England a whole host of opportunities awaited him as he was approached by the leading house night in the midlands Blend. He was booked in to do the solid soul record launch party where he smashed it in the main room as a result of that he was asked back to become a resident. After doing some big nights for Blend was asked if he wanted a residency at Aqua bar which was the main pre bar for Blend. After being talked about all over derby he was then approached by the head Promoter and main resident for BabySlinky in Burton, which was the leading house night in the north on Friday nights. After his first night playing at Babyslinky and showing off his dj talents and bouncing the dance floor in ways the Burton people have never seen he was asked to come back and do another night which led to him becoming a Babyslinky main resident.
