Tarazz is a Miami-based DJ producer aka Oscar Perez Tarazona. Born and raised in Caracas,Venezuela, at early age developed strong feelings towards music, specially during high-school years where he and a group of friends started to get interested in spinning live in what was known by then with the term “mini-theque” (mobile displays) -as the small or miniature version of discotheque- where people danced to pop music in private parties just like in a disco - so popular particularly in the late 80’s and early 90’s. It was only until 2006 when Oscar Perez obtained credentials from DJ Jay from VERBAL BEATS at SAE Institute in North Miami, where he learned the basics from beat matching to scratching and everything concerning the latest turntable techniques. His style is influenced by European DJ’s such as Claude Von Stroke, Deadmau5, Axwell, Sander Kleinenberg, all under the house and electronic music. Tarazz’s first official live performance began at The Womb, in South Beach, during spring 2006 where he has been spinning live ever since to internet audiences every tuesday at 10 pm Eastern time. The Womb is an outlet for the creatives types interested in top-notch electronic club house music. What started as pirate radio station followed by the strict FCC, became years later as the only live DJ mix broadcast for original Real G2, which was the first internet’s media player. Directed by John Westley, The Womb.tv along with two other outlets -KribTV( Hip-Hop and R&B music) and MezzTV(Indie Alternative Underground Rock music)- are all under the umbrella of “The Company’s” global broadcast networks that can be viewed by anyone, anywhere at anytime for free. The Womb added visual artist mixes to a revolving line-up of 55 world class DJ's that spin electronic dance music genres from drum & bass, to house and acid jazz. It became the first 24/7 live multimedia television station in the world, and now carries Internet audiences of 1.5 million each month across 120 countries. With a magnetic and high energy personality. Tarazz is definitely without doubt one of the great talented hidden gems of Miami's club scene. You can listen and watch him live every Tuesday @ The Womb’s headquarters located at the rooftop of the Sony Building at the heart of Lincoln Road in South Beach. TARAZZ IS DEEP HOUSE, TECH HOUSE, MINIMAL, PROGRESSIVE, ELECTRO, TRIBAL AND MUCH MORE.
