Artist Bio:
Mike B Moved from Liverpool to London in 1988 and was instantly greeted with some of the best Underground Clubs around, here he linked up with Salvo and they found that the inspiration was instant, they soon found themselves compelled to become part of this ever growing music scene. It was not long before they had their own studio set up and a small collection of records and where travelling around the club scene. Over the next few years the scene moved above ground and great clubs where spawned such as Trade this is when some great DJs where unleashed on the public such as Steven Thomas, the late Tony D Vit who was one of their greatest influence and Malcolm Duffy who always played the most inspiring music and always delivered flawless sets, they took most of their inspiration from them. Slowly they started to develop there own style and sound and it was not to long before they where getting bookings to play at some great venues such as The Cafe de Paris and The Aquarium playing the best in upfront house. They then wanted to turn their hand to production and where soon storming the dance floors there own promos such as “Boom Boom x 2” and “Gotta Keep On Dancing” They both went on to play at Trinity @ The Chunnel Club, Vauxhall and Sub Bass in Bournemouth together known as The Househusbands. Over the last decade their career paths have been wide and varied working in and around the music industry such as the PRS and MCPS while holding a DJ residency at The George and Dragon Bar in Greenwich and playing at The Phoenix in Lewisham. They can currently be found every Friday night as residents DJs at Tonker @ The Eagle in Vauxhall and with another 5 songs under their belts such as “Let Me Be Your Underwear” and “Delight in Love” these guys go from strength to strength. When asked why they had stayed with it for so long they replied “When we started out everything was fresh and new and exciting, people enjoyed sharing the experience with each other and love was in the air ,we think it still is and we continue to try and bring that to people. You have to keep doing the things you love even when it feels like it is all going to end. Never give up your Dreams
