Chris Craze was born in 1976 in Badconn-Statt Germany. He started djing in 1984 with 2 turntables and a microphone. He got his first paying dj gig in 1988, his first club residency in 1991 and has worked 3-7 nights a week since @ Clubs like: like Kokomo Bay, Bennigan’s After Dark, City Lites, Frankies Patio, Empire, Twilight, Masquerade, Pleasure Dome, Heasliners, Ozone, Fantasy Ranch, The Zoo, Sanctuary, Bar Tampa, Tahiti Joe’s, Gonzo’s, Shepard’s, Staorman’s Palace, Flo Lounge, the Mirage, Plush, Saints & Sinner, Bar Envy, Scores, DeJaVu, Dirty Martini, Green Iguana, BLUR, Kokopeli’s, Bourbon Street, Platforms, Ampitheater, Cuban Club, The Edge, Firestone, Zuma Beach, Café’ Casa Blanca, Virtigo, DNA, 911, The Krush, Parthenon, Nightmoves, the Studio, Boat Yard Village, Moon Gate, Crabby Bills, The Coliseum, Liquid Blue, Cream , 1509, Oasis, Eden, and many more! Also in 1984 he started playing keyboards and piano, he loves music and mixing it more than life. He loves scratching and making cool sounds with his gear. He is also a VJ, and has 15,000 music videos and some pioneer dvj-x1’s. Chris Craze started writing music at an early age, using some of the first sequencers known to man , an Alesis MMT8 , little grey box that looked like a drum machine. He has had his fair share of those also, he was fortunate enough to have TRS80 and Commodore 64 computers, and grew up on Atari, Nintendo, Sega, although he put the games down for the years 1996-2006, but who can pass up Rock Band & Guitar Hero and the new Wii, lovin it too! “You aint lived to u did shots and played a wii on a 12' screen! I spend allot of time on the computer, making tunes , remixes , edits, voice overs, html, web sites( my new thing ), and talking to people! “ he says. This year marks 24 years with turntables as his guide, and he cant complain! Currently the resident at Floyd’s Night Club Inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa , and Dirty Martini in Clearwater. He likes motorcycles, jet ski’s, trucks, fast cars, mountain bikes, boats, outdoors anything, racing, technology and so much more. Currently he is writing his debut album called “Needle Dust” should be done by Christmas 2008. He also hosts an internet radio station Craze Radio.
